Crimp contacts for fans
These crimp contacts are needed for fan cables. These come in a bundle of 60 pieces - enough for 20 3-pin fans or 15 4-pin fans. Make your own cables, not too short, not too long: No compromise!
Is Crimping complicated?
After a few tries and with a good crimping tool, you will have learned it. Put the crimp contact into the smaller opening of the tool - until the flaps at the back of the contact have just entered the opening. Then you close the crimping tool until it "clicks" the first or second time. With the removed cable insulation on a length of 2 - 3 mm you push the cable into the back of the crimp contact. Then you close the tool completely.
The tool will open when it is closed to its maximum OR earlier if you push forward the small lever on the inside of the lower grip, while you have a little bit of closing force applied.
