MDPC Crimping-Tool

The MDPC Crimping-Tool! Do you ask yourself: Will I be the one who gets a tool that "makes a good crimp" or "makes a bad crimp"? This tool ALWAYS makes a perfect crimp with centered bends which go into the cable insulation. Each of my tools is like that, not just some of them. :-) The tool comes with 160 crimp contacts!
The pictures show you what a good-crimp and a bad-crimp looks like. The "just overlapping" bend of the long flaps are a problem, that often occurs ... but not with the MDPC Crimping-Tool.
These crimp contacts are included in the price:
- 60x crimp contacts for fans
- 50x crimp contacts FEMALE for ATX, PCIE, EPS
- 50x crimp contacts MALE for ATX, PCIE, EPS
With these you can directly start your crimping actions! I don't sell the MDPC Crimping-Tool alone, because I want to make sure that you experience how it is to work with quality pins. :-)
Is Crimping complicated?
After a few tries with this crimping tool, you will master it. Put the crimp contact into one of the two openings of the tool (ATX, PCIE, EPS into the big one, Fan-crimps into the small one) - until the flaps at the back of the contact are just before the part on the inside of the opening where it gets narrower (crimp contacts for fans should just be inserted so that the "rear-flaps" are in the opening - not deeper! Otherwise you would bend the crimp contact itself downwards!). Then you close the crimping tool until it "clicks" the first or second time. With the removed cable insulation on a length of 2 - 3 mm you push the cable into the back of the crimp contact. Then you close the tool completely.
Please have a look at the last picture - I made a drawing for you :) Each tool is personally checked by me for intended function. If you follow my guide and drawing exactly, it will work as intended ... perfect :-)
The tool will open when it is closed to its maximum OR earlier if you push forward the small lever on the inside of the lower grip, while you have a little bit of closing force applied.Knowing this technique is important, as you can prevent "brutally squeezed" crimp contacts :)
